To All Peregrines;
The number of participants signed up for our Dinner Dance, 24 October 2009, to say the least, is very disappointing. We were anticipating at least 100 people and so far we have 65. Therefore I am going to allow people to bring a guest or guest couple. We have an excellent meal and music for all ages planned. Without the support of our members this could well be our first and last function of this type!
We, as your executive, are endeavouring to provide entertainment on a scale that will allow more people to participate. Future functions of this type are very dependent on how well this evening works out. Since becoming President, myself and your committee have been working towards events that will accommodate more than 60 people. Without the support of everyone it would be quite easy to revert back to our old archaic ways of having functions on a first come first serve basis.
It`s up to you shipmates. Make it fly or let it die.
Yours Aye

for a free membership for 2010. The draw will be done at the
meeting on Saturday, Nov. 21.
